Digital Store

Welcome to the info page for our digital store, Hoodlums.ThinkIndie.com.  Again, this is NOT our digital store… it is our web page that is supposed to lead you to the digital store.  In addition, it will give you some background on the store, as well as a list of this month’s featured digital music.

Behind hoodlums.thinkIndie.

This growing little website is a product of a lot of hard-working, passionate record store geeks like us- geeks that have been fighting against the corporate goofballs of the music world for a long time.  These wonderful geeks were able to come up with a way that the indie stores could get together and compete in a digital world of corporate favoritism (just like the real world).  The result is a great indie website, full of digital sweetness.

If you are a digital buyer, and you are sick of supporting the corporate giants, or better yet if you want your downloads to be DRM free (which means you can put them on whichever device you please) and 320 KB (which means the better quality than the corporate sites)… we recommend you go directly to our digital store and start looking around.

But if you aren’t sure… then keep scrolling and check out our Top 20 Featured Artists on the site.  It’s a great line-up (picked by Becky) as more and more artists and labels on board in support of the indie record stores. Speaking of indie stores, don’t forget to scroll for our Top Five Indie Exclusive downloads (just some of the many free downloads and indie exclusives on the site).

Questions or comments?  Please let us know.  Now… onto the music.
